Wildlife Wednesday 2: Neck Punch

When I go to the zoo, I enjoy visiting the giraffes. (Here in Denver, there are three new youngsters.) These docile, elegant creatures have a serene majesty about them. Sometimes it's hard to imagine these gentle giants braving the wilds of Africa among lions and other predators. Hard to imagine, that is, until you see this video from 5min.com showing two giraffes in the middle of a disagreement. Disagreement may be too soft a word. These two throw down. Forget leaves in high trees, these long necks are being used for added drawback for a massive headbutt.
